I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology, with a focus on children, from Colorado State University. My husband Eric and I have two sons that both went through CCP Preschool & Playschool. We enjoy a lot of soccer, baseball, basketball, and football games! I am thankful for our CCP Preschool & Playschool families and feel blessed to be able to teach your children.

I was born in Texas and am a graduate of the University of Kansas with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I began at CCP as the director of the Parents’ Day Out Program in 1986. I am blessed to share God’s love with preschoolers for the past 24 years at CCP. Jeff and I have two grown daughters who live locally. I help my siblings care for aging parents and am thankful to live in Colorado and celebrate its beauty.

I received my bachelor’s degree in Music performance from Northwestern College in Iowa. After I married my husband, I received my teaching endorsement in elementary education at Metropolitan State University. I taught third grade for six years. While my daughter was in Playschool and Preschool, I taught in the Playschool Toddler room and loved it! After all of the great years teaching in Toddler class, I taught PreKindergarten, and have been teaching in the JrKindergarten class for three years. I love children and teaching them! So it’s no surprise that God has led me to this wonderful program and the opportunity to be His disciple with preschool children. When I am not being a mom, volunteering for my daughter’s school or at church, I sing, garden and read every book I can.

Teaching God’s children about His unending love and the magnificence of the world that He created for us has been my joy for the last 24 years. My degree is in Chemical Engineering, which I used to drill oil wells in Colorado and Alaska prior to becoming a Christian preschool teacher. Having two wonderful children refocused my passion for teaching children about God’s love and the wonders of His science. My free time is spent with my son, daughter, and husband, teaching taekwondo, camping, fishing, and reading as many books as I can get my hands on.

Eva Ralston

Children are my favorite kind of people and teaching them about the world and God’s love for them has been my mission in life! I have been working in elementary and preschool since college, except for several years spent at home when my son and daughter were very young, and more recently, helping with my six grandchildren! As I attended Cherry Creek Presbyterian Church and helped with child care for six+ years, I became aware of our fine preschool program and am thrilled to now be teaching with this staff in my home church. I like to travel with my husband, read and try new recipes, and volunteer for church ministries such as serving at funeral dinners and shopping for shut-ins. After many years of experience with children, I still find working with them very fulfilling.

I’m looking forward to a year of learning, fun and adventure. I was born in Michigan and moved to Colorado with my husband in 1990. We have 3 adult children, ages 25, 22, and 20. I have an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood. I was a teacher at Southeast Christian Preschool for 3 years and starting my second year here at CCPC. Prior to this my focus was as a homeschool teacher to my children.

Ever since I came to Christ, I have loved to teach His word. It started with my children and since they’re all grown up it is my joy to teach your darling children about the love and faithfulness of our God and our goal to be like Jesus.

A few of my favorite things are serving at church, being with family and friends, and reading a good book when I’m not gardening. I can’t wait to meet you and start the school year.

This will be my second year of teaching Young Three’s at CCPC, and I’m so very excited! I am a Colorado native and a single mom with a precious 3yo daughter. God created in me a passion for helping children navigate through early childhood. I serve a loving God who cares deeply for His children, and I am blessed to work in an environment where the reality of His gospel and love are shared.

In my downtime, I can usually be found doing arts & crafts with my daughter, working in my other field of Floral Design, hiking, writing, and checking out any and every coffee shop in Denver!

I received my bachelor’s degree with a major in Music and a minor in Bible. After college, I spent three years overseas as a missionary. I am a person of many and diverse interests, and one of them has always been young children. I love to interact with their distinct personalities and influence them for God. Originally from Connecticut, I have spent most of my adult life here in Colorado. I have a firefighter husband and three active boys who are in their teenage years. Some of my other interests include God’s family around the world (mission work), knitting, singing, and of course chocolate.

Molly Short

I grew up in Minnesota, but moved to Colorado my senior year of college to do an internship with the Colorado Senate in 1977.
I graduated from Macalester College in 1978 and received my Montessori certification in 1983. I have owned my own Montessori preschool and have worked with children in some capacity for the last 35 years. I have raised five wonderful children and have three precious grandchildren.

My greatest purpose in life is to help each child realize their own divine value and self love. That is where God wants us to start. Realizing your own divinity and worthiness allows you to share your love with others. I am incredibly blessed to be here at CCPC with such dedicated teachers and parents.
When I’m not teaching, I most enjoy being with my family, reading, hiking and spending time outdoors!

Jesus loves the little children and so do I. It brings me such joy to see their happy, loving faces learning, exploring and growing. It is especially a privilege to teach them that Jesus loves them. My husband and I have been married for many years and have a married daughter who has blessed us with a grandson, and two wonderful sons. In my free time you can find me watching movies, reading, and having coffee with friends. CCP Preschool and Playschool is a wonderful place to work and I am glad to be a part of it.

I had the privilege of growing up in Greenwood Village and at CCPC. After attending Denver and Fuller Seminaries, I was on CCPC’s staff for three years. I love being back on staff as a Preschool 3’s Teacher. I have two sons and one daughter who attend Cherry Creek Academy. Preschool is my favorite age because I get to watch these little ones learn so many new skills. I am excited for my fourth year teaching Preschool 3’s.

I was born in Sweden and moved to Colorado at the age of 23. My experience with children began with my mother’s in-home child care center. I have always loved children and got my Early Childhood degree in Sweden. I continue to take Early Childhood Education classes here to meet Colorado Standards. I am married and have two teenage boys with one in high school and the other in college. Our whole family loves to be outdoors – we are camping, boating, hiking, biking or skiing almost every weekend. I feel blessed to have found CCPC and love teaching here.
