Summer Missions

Every two years, juniors and seniors have the opportunity to travel as a team to Uganda, working with Youth for Christ in various ways. This is a life-changing trip, where the Lord provides many opportunities for growth along the way.
The Uganda team will be collecting donations of infant-2T clothes, cloth diapers and pens, soccer shoes, maternity clothes, and prenatal vitamins. Donation bins are located in fuel and the CC lobby.

The Ethiopia Mission Team will serve for two weeks in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with our long-term missions partner Hope for the Fatherless, an orphan ministry providing rescue, rehabilitation, and restoration for children trapped in government institutions or homelessness on the streets. HFTF’s vision is to see every child thriving in a loving family through in-country adoption, family preservation programs, life skills training, and residential care.
This July, the group will lead VBS and academic tutoring for children at HFTF’s Life Training Center, provide the HFTF staff with resources and time for respite and training, and learn how to best serve and advocate for orphaned and vulnerable children.

Middle School students have the opportunity to serve on the Navajo Nation Reservation down in Arizona. This small team has great impact and is greatly impacted by the Lord's presence throughout the week. Fellowshipping with the community, putting on VBS, and doing various work projects are just some of the experiences this group will have 

Camp Barnabas is a life changing trip for our high school students!  This camp provides respite for families, as we will spend the week caring for campers with special needs. This an amazing opportunity to love people who often are overlooked by the rest of the world. This is one of our most loved experiences, and it proves character-forming as the Lord works through the week at camp.
